About Lindsay
Hi — I'm Lindsay.
I've been a massage therapist for 13 years, and I've spent the last 8 of them figuring out how to help other therapists do this work without burning out.

I'm an LMT, massage educator, 500-hour certified yoga instructor, and the founder of Mindful Massage Academy and Plaza Yoga here in Oklahoma City. I'm also a mom, a lifter, a painter, and someone who believes that how you learn shapes who you become as a practitioner.
If you're a massage therapist who wants more — more direction, more confidence, a clearer sense of who you are in the treatment room — you're in the right place.

My Story
How I got here
I became a licensed massage therapist because I wanted to do work that actually meant something. I wanted to help people feel better in their bodies. What I didn't expect was how much I'd love the teaching side — the moment when something clicks for a student, when they find their own rhythm in the work.
What Changed
After years in practice, I started noticing a pattern: talented therapists leaving the field early, burning out on commission, building clientele that didn't fit them, running their businesses by guesswork. I knew there had to be a better path. So I built one.
Where I am now
Today I run Mindful Massage Academy, a licensed vocational school in OKC, and Plaza Yoga & Bodywork in the Plaza District. I also lead the Align mentorship program for working therapists who want to stop guessing and start building a practice that actually fits their life. Community, creativity, and helping people grow — that's the whole thing, really.
What I Believe
1
The Nervous System is Everything
Regulated therapists create regulated clients. The work starts with you.
2
Community Over Competition
Other therapists aren't your competition. They're your people. This field is better when we lift each other up.
3
Sustainable Beats Heroic
A practice you can keep for 20 years is worth more than one that burns bright for two.
